Theo Carow is a German influencer with over 3 million followers on TikTok. After working on the logo and clothing labels for his fashion brand Catching Theo, his agency approached us to design and develop his online store.

Given that Theo’s audience is mostly Gen Z it was important to capture the Y2K aesthetic, as well as provide a fun and easy to use experience with a mobile focus.

By featuring stickers of Theo throughout the site we were able to capture his online personality on the website.

The concept to create an interactive 360 view of the clothes was unconventional for e-comm, allowing users to view the clothing at all angles while browsing.

The logo provided the basis for the digital brand we established in the design. Combining muted colors with the brand’s red resulted in a vintage dreamy aesthetic that is nostalgic and yet still relevant to the modern experience.

To translate the vintage vibe into our assets, we decided to include film photography images alongside the 360 product photos. These film images were primarily used on the product pages and throughout the campaign as valuable assets, adding a touch of nostalgia to the overall look and feel.
